Muque Get “HAPPY GROOVY” in Colourful New Music Video

Japanese four-piece band muque have released the music video for their latest track, “HAPPY GROOVY,” delivering a vibrant new visual that embraces the playful energy behind the song.

The music video sees muque step into a colourful and eccentric world alongside a diverse cast of characters, matching the upbeat atmosphere of “HAPPY GROOVY” with visuals that are every bit as lively as its title suggests.

Directed by eijin and produced by VIXI, the video features appearances from Dragon, Halfye and Kota Ishikawa, among others. Rather than relying on a conventional performance-focused format, the music video builds its identity around its cast, styling and energetic direction, creating a visual experience that feels distinctly suited to muque’s ever-evolving sound.

“HAPPY GROOVY” continues the Fukuoka-based band’s growing momentum as they head further into 2026. Consisting of vocalist Asakura, guitarist Lenon, bassist Takachi and drummer Kenichi, muque have steadily attracted attention for a sound that brings together elements of alternative music, pop, rock and electronic production.

The new release also arrives alongside the band’s ongoing muque LIVE TOUR 2026 “GLHF,” marking another step forward for the group as they continue to expand their presence within Japan’s contemporary music scene.
